Most of you know that our organization
was featured on Dateline NBC several years ago. During my interview,
the host of the show commented on the countless children living
on the streets and in the sewers of Romania and said, "You
can't save them all. You can't even save a small percentage of them."
My response to him is the same today as it was then..."To
see even one changed life is powerful. Who knows what that life
will do?"

Ionut
(pronounced yo-newts) is a powerful example of what that
one changed life can do! Rescued from the streets of Bucharest
as a young boy by Orasul Sperantei (City of Hope),
Ionut is now 20 years old and is, in his own way, bringing
hope and healing to children who are in desperate need,
just as he used to be. Now a young man, Ionut is involved
with our Village
of Hope Baby House project, while still
attending school and is so grateful for the chance to make
a difference in the lives of these abandoned babies. This
month he also started going to the Hope
Rescue Center project on Saturdays to
help the staff and team by ministering to the teenagers
from the street. His contribution to the program is singing
hip-hop songs to the street children and teens that he wrote
himself. Ionut has been very encouraged by the response
of the children and teens and has decided to go every two
weeks to the Hope Rescue Center
to, in his own words, "hopefully, have
a positive impact in the lives of those that hear my songs."

Thank you so much for your continued support! Witnessing the
impact that this one changed life has had, and will have,
on his world reaffirms my vision of changing one life at a
time. We couldn't do this without you, our faithful donors!
Will you commit, with me, to changing the lives of these precious
children one at a time..."who knows what
that life will do?"
Gratefully
Yours ,
Angie
