Dear Friends,

Thank you so much for making Children's Relief Network/Orasul Sperantei (City of Hope--Romania) a part of your extended "family" this holiday season with your support. There is a familiar phrase that we hear from so many people these days..."I want to make a difference!" When we hear those words we think of YOU, as you give to our work of rescuing the abandoned and orphaned children and youth of Romania. You are truly helping us make that difference in many lives!

 

We recently heard from our Rescue Center staff about a family that was helped. The Dobrica family has 8 children and was living on the streets or in abandoned buildings. Recently they were able to obtain a place to live and, although the place is very small, it made them so happy. Our staff was able to help them financially with supplies for their renovation, groceries, extra clothing, blankets and medicine. When we assist families like this, it helps them to be able to stay together as a family unit, which is so important in Romania. During these cold, winter months, please know that we depend on your support and gifts to help us reach more children and families!

We want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2004! Thank you again for all you mean to us and to the children and staff in Bucharest.
