We recently heard from our Hope Rescue Center staff about a family that needs help. The Misuta family, a mother, father and 4 children, are in desperate need. Our Rescue Center workers first met them near a bridge where they were begging for money--the mother and the children begged daily. Both parents are unemployed and cannot find work. The Rescue Center staff tried to find out more information about the Misuta family through City Hall, Child Protection, the police and the children's village school. They visited the family several times and offered counseling, limited medical help and food, blankets, clothes, vitamins, etc. This family lives in very poor conditions--in one room that is ready to collapse with no heat, electricity or gas.

Please know that our staff works very hard to help families like the Misuta's in any way they can but our staff also depends on monthly support from people like you. During this holiday season, please consider sending an extra gift to help us help those who are so desperately needy!
