Your gift is such a wonderful help as we daily provide love, hope and training for life to the boys and girls at Orasul Sperantei in Bucharest, Romania!

The Refuge of Hope has been a phase of our outreach that touches post-orphanage girls. These girls must leave the government orphanages when they reach 17 years of age. With no family or home to go to, and no one to care for them, they are on the streets. So many of these young girls are then offered a "job" and an "apartment" by evil men.

One of the young women who was in the Refuge of Hope for a period of time is Alina (pictured left). Several years ago she left the state-run orphanage with scars from her life there. Alina stayed for a time at the Refuge of Hope apartment. Today, she helps one of our family groups with cooking, cleaning, and taking care of small children. She also helps in the care of Romi and Vali, the two brothers who were badly burned. The children love her and she is a blessing for all who come in contact with her!
