Thank
you so much for your faithful support of our organization over
the years. Many of you know that we started our Village of
Hope Baby House in early 2004. Since that time we have provided
food, clothing, diapers, medical treatment, and, most of all,
love and affection to babies that would otherwise never know what
it meant to be held or loved. Unfortunately, because of new Romanian
government regulations, we will no longer be able to operate our
Village of Hope Baby House in its current capacity. The
Romanian government has passed a law that states children two
years old and under cannot be in an institutionalized, or group,
setting and that all babies deemed abandoned must be placed in
maternal assistance. As a result, we have placed the babies we
currently have custody of with our City of Hope families
and some of the children have been reunited with their biological
mothers.
